Sacred Statuary

We have sacred statuary from many cultures including Hindu, African, and Chinese and many types of Buddhas, representing wealth, strength, and protection.  We have symbols representing family and motherhood.  We also have Feng Shui Money Frogs, which represent wealth and dignity and serve as an auspicious sign of treasure, wealth and abundance.  It is said that it can avoid misfortune and attract wealth.  It needs to be placed in a particular place.  With its head toward the door, it can absorb wealth for you, and with money on its rump, it will double your wealth.

“I worship the Lord with a curved trunk and huge body with the effulgence of a core suns.  Let him remove all the obstacles to my deeds and lead them to fulfillment.”

Usually elephants are path makers in forests.  When an elephant passes through thick woods, a way is created for the other animals to follow.  Lord Ganesha is worshiped first before starting any new deed.  Lord Ganesha clears the obstacles and paves the way for us to move forward in life.

The large elephant head of Lord Ganesha symbolizes wisdom, understanding and a discriminating intellect that one must possess to attain perfection in life.
